 Mike passed from us unexpectedly at the hospital in his home town of Media, Pennsylvania where he owned and operated M J McCloskey and Associates a commercial real estate appraisal business for the past 30 years.

 A member of the Appraisal Institute he taught at various universities throughout the United States. Mike was an avid reader and golfer and was a fan of American history and "Hometown Living". Always full of life and charm Mike was proud to be a Marine and proud of his family. We will all miss him. 

 Mike is survived by his his partner Mary Jane Scierka, his daughter Shannon Allain of Branchburg, NJ and his son Michael J III of Media, Pa. Interment was at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery in Chester Heights on 10 November 2008.
