On 1 May 2008, James M. Stewart, TSgt/SSGT (E6) USMC Ret, died in
Clearwater FL after a long illness. Jim was one of the original Marines in
Madrid in Feb 1949 until Nov 1951. Hew is survived by his wife Dorothy and
four children. He resided in Spring Hill, FL until his illness. His remains
will be interred at the National Cemetery, Bushnell FL on Tuesday 6 May at
1230.

While at Henderson Hall upon our return from embassy duty I took him home
with me to Cincinnati where I was going to see my then girl friend, now my
wife. Jim went with me and my wife fixed him up with a high school classmate
of hers and they were married in May 1952. Jim never joined MEGA or any
other organization. He was a good Marine and will be missed by his friends.
