Last Call for 2010 St. Louis Reunion.
We are two weeks away from a joint land and
air assault by our Association on St. Louis, Missouri. We still have
some members that have hotel reservations but have not sent MRP their
Registration Forms. Registration Forms are available on the MEGA
Website.
We also have members who have sent in Registration Forms to MRP but
have not made reservations at the hotel. If you don't have a confirmed
Marriott reservation and need some assistance, please let me know at
520 575-6449 ASAP.
Reminder: Unlike any bar service in the world the Marine House Bar
doesn’t charge by the ounce, jigger, or bottle. As a matter of
fact, our bar is hosted by MEGA and that means it costs you nothing
more than what you would like to donate to keep things going. Operative
word is ‘Donation’.
I made one last request to St. Louis Parking Company for a reduced
rate. I’m sorry to report the company has turned us down for a
reduced rate. Hotel valet parking is available for our members at
$12.00 per day.
Everything appears to be in place for an enjoyable Reunion. All we need
is good weather from Mother Nature. I'm looking forward to seeing
everyone in St. Louis.

MEGA St
Louis Reunion Update:
We have
until March 22 to fill our reserve rooms at the contract rate. I have
asked our Military Reunion Planners (MRP) to look at an overflow hotel,
should it be required. If any of you have any friends that you want to
see at the reunion, call them and remind them to make their
reservations. Still trying to get a reduced rate for parking.
Registration forms should be in your mailbox within a few days. Direct
all inquiries to me, after Wednesday Feb 10.
The Marine
House will be well stocked again this year with a donation from Anheuser
Busch thanks to our fellow member and Director of Military Sales for AB,
Rocky Sickmann. Wally Calderon has agreed to run the bar again this
year.
Auction Items Needed: We do
need quality items for our annual auction. The money received goes to
our scholarship fund.
I will
provide another update within a couple of weeks.

It gives
me great pleasure to announce that the MEGA Board of Directors has
approved St. Louis, Missouri as the location of the 2010 MEGA
Reunion. The dates are April 22 thru 25, 2010.
St. Louis was
selected in response to the requests of several members to schedule a
reunion in the middle of the country.
The Union Station Marriott Hotel
has been selected as they were able to offer a very competitive rate of
$111.00 which includes a hot buffet breakfast each morning. Checkout the

Obviously, we
are in the very early planning stage so check the website for updates
and check the newsletters. As soon as we have more info we will send out
the information to the membership.
