I am signing on behalf of my late father, SgtMaj Timothy Gordon Pache. He was killed while on active duty by a drunk driver on 01 April 2000. My mother and I were stationed with him at MSG Tunis and Stockholm form 1988 to 1992. I was told by my mother that he served in Switzerland and Beruit in the late seventies. I am trying to find any "Devildogs" that may have served with him in Beruit or Switzerland. Please help if you can.

Dave Tedrow emailed me about Steve Ochs death. When I was NCOIC in New Delhi, Steve used to come to Delhi for periodic R&R's from Kabul. Sgt Ochs was one of the most impressive professional NCO's that I have ever had the pleasure of serving with. He served with honor and I honor the memories that I have of him. Semper Fi

It is with a sad heart that I report that Major Steven W. Ochs, USMC (RET) passed away in November 2010 after a long and hard fight with cancer. Steve served at our embassies in Kabul (1981), New Delhi (1981), Iceland and Switzerland as well as several others.

My father, SgtMaj Timothy G. Pache (ret), served as an MSG in Swizerland and in Beruit in the late seventies and again as DC in Tunis and Stockhoholm in Late eighties. I am trying to locate anyone who might have served with him in Beruit. I many photos of him and others from that embassy during that time... I'm told it was a rough time. My father has died and I never had an opportunity to discuss as I was too young. I am currently serving in the USCG w/ 14+ years; 10 enlisted and so on...

After RVN 1965-1966 went to Morocco to find out what real fighting was all about. Twenty-two single secretaries and six Marines; yes that's about even. Married the best one of the group and we remain that why to today. Morocco can teach us alot about the real life.
