2012 MEGA REUNION

Now Hear This! The 2012 MEGA Reunion will be
headquartered at the Sheraton Hotel, Crystal City, VA. April 27 – 30,
2012 is the official date. For those who are unfamiliar with this area,
the hotel is a hop, skip and a jump away from a Metro Station, ideal
transportation for getting around D.C.

More good news: Hotel rate including breakfast is $119.00 per
night. It doesn’t stop there! We’ve been guaranteed that same rate for
members who wish a two-day extension on either side of the official
reunion dates.
What that means is you can spend more time at the Smithsonian
Institute, maybe have lunch at Old Ebbitt Grill, then drop in to
complain to your Senator about anything you want. The next day you can
loll around the Potomac greens with a six-pac and take in the National
Cherry Blossom Festival, which, by the way, starts on March 20 and ends
on April 27. How’s that for a plan? If you decide to take
advantage of the two days following the official reunion dates well,
you get the idea, there’s a lot to do in the Nation’s Capitol.
And finally, the reunion agenda is being planned to include attending
Quantico’s Marine Corps Embassy Security Group graduation ceremonies
for Class 3-12. This event will occur on 27 April, 2012.

Formal or Cocktail Attire – Men: Suit or Sportcoat & Slacks; Ladies: Dress
or Dress Suit; or,
■Military Dress Uniform is appropriate for those eligible to wear their
uniform
